Like pediatricians, pediatric dentists specialize in treating very young children to teenagers. Two to three years of training after dental school prepares them for the special oral health care needs of children, adolescents and people with special needs.

Pediatric dentists are experienced with communication techniques that allow them to establish a trusting relationship with children. This bond of trust allows the dental team, in cooperation with the child's family, to provide state of the art preventative, restorative and imperceptive orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Perdue's office is designed specifically with children in mind. Colorful artwork, video games, televisions at each custom designed dental chair and kid sized equipment all play a part in making your child's dental experience a positive one.
