Why a Pediatric Dentist?
Like pediatricians, pediatric dentists specialize in treating very young children to teenagers. Two to three years of training after dental school prepares them for the special oral healthcare needs of children, adolescents and people with special needs.
Pediatric dentists are experienced with communication techniques that allow them to establish a trusting relationship with children. This bond of trust allows the dental team, in cooperation with the child's family, to provide state of the art preventative, restorative and interceptive orthodontic treatment.
